Gifted with a sharp mind, an innate ability to connect with others and an insatiable thirst for excellence, Cheyja Andrews is an Air Force brat who was born in San Antonio, Texas and raised in Hampton, Virginia. She is an Alumni of Virginia State University, where she was fascinated with the mind, and decided to study Psychology. She is a member of the dynamic ladies of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. Cheyja has a strong love for people and started her early career as a teacher in the Richmond City Public Schools. But she would soon discover her gift of gab would lead her into the world of radio. Radio One became her new home and radio personality “Chey Butta” was born. Cheyja was the Promotions Director of Radio One and went on to work for Radio One Corporate in Washington DC as Marketing Assistant to the Vice President of Marketing. After a little over a year

Cheyja was offered the opportunity to tour with R&B singer Chris Brown. While being on the road all over the United States, her networking was expounded more then she could have ever imagined. In 2013, Chayja was ready to settle down in one location and started a new venture with the Department of Defense at the “NLSC” The National Language Service Corp, where she had the opportunity to work with people all over the world. This is where Cheyja experienced a revelation of her passion for people and why she was created. She soon discovered that people see the world through the flashlight that shines from their own mind. She learned that perspective is based off of individual environments, cultures, and experiences. Her gift for marketing, events, and public relations was intensified though her wisdom and knowledge for emotional intelligence. Here is where Cheyja started an organization called “DYSOL” Do You Speak Our Language and the emotional intelligence curriculum, Speak Life was created. She is now a certified Life Coach, a Qualified Mental Health Professional, and living on purpose, using her skill for emotional intelligence to create a world of impeccable events and marketing for various clients all over the world.
